TV Times – The Moment Of Truth

15vc6qMoment of truth – A new US based reality show that took me by surprise. These guys are good at bringing new concepts to the audience. This one now adds as a must watch (At least once). The concept is innovative and when the show is on u r in for a lot of surprises. While I try to catch up on the new reality show, one of my favourites, The Amazing Race Asia is coming to an end this evening. The Grand Finale will be aired at 10PM IST. For more about these shows, and a few others read on..

Due the current tussle between the producers of Indian Television serials and FWICE( Federation of something led by somebody.. 😀 I’d rather not Google as i don’t have time for it..)To put it simply, It’s a problem between the producers and the crew over some money issues. The Indian prime time audience has now enough time to catch up on something other than some boring and dragging serial. While all this was happening, The television remote would end in my hand. Mann! How i hoped this would never end. I’m loving it:D What happened now is that i was able to catch up on match highlights, watch some good english based reality shows and series. The thing i like about anything english on television is that the story simply doesn’t drag, it just ends with a few episodes. At least I’m not watching anything that has been continuing for a long long time.

Moment of Truth – Tuesday to Friday 9PM IST exclusively on Star World.
Moment of Truth is the new US based reality show. This one is interesting and innovative. The contestants can win up to half a million dollars by just answering 21 truthful questions about their life. yes, just answering 21 truthful questions. And if u might have guessed, as the contestant gets closer to winning the grand prize, the questions get more personal. So how does it matter, U could lie..!

moment-of-truthThe contestants are asked to undergo a lie detection test before they enter the contest. During the test the contestants are 50 questions and their answers are recorded on the lie detector as true or false, which of course the contestant cannot know. 21 of the 50 questions are selected for the contest. The questions vary from their childhood to their intimate lives. And you know how the western culture is. To add more to the drama, the contestants close mates including the parents and the spouse are invited. Things get weird and personal as the secret lives of the contestant get aired on National television.

More drama unveils when some of the questions are asked by their close relatives. Once a contestant’s ex-boyfriend was invited to ask a question. I’d not tell u the question u’d probably like to watch it in the video that follows. Her Sister pressed the buzzer. Oh, the Buzzer. The contestants relatives who are invited on the show have an option to press the buzzer only once during the entire show meaning that they would rather not hear the answer to the question. At this time the question is to be replaced. The question was replaced and this one again is asked by the ex. Another question and this time the answer leaves the husband in a shock. Watch it to believe what the contestants reveal on National television. As they say on the show, the answers to the questions may make or break a relationship.

This episode is the one I’m referring to: Youtube Video

For other episodes, look for the links on right hand side on Youtube. I Would defenitely not want to miss the next episode, the preview of which is amazing. Tonight 9PM.

All in all a must watch show. If not the full series, make sue u watch one episode.

The Amazing Race Asia – AXN – Thursday 10PM IST

Today is the grand finale of the Amazing race Asia season 2. With 10 teams of 2 It’s a race around the world, teh winner of which would be a million dollar richer. There are various rules and tasks that make the race more interesting. Will probably explain more of it in the next season. Today is the grand finale and whoever wins will be a deserving winner because this one has been the toughest race ever. Happy TV Times.
