I have been having random thoughts, more personal than general, about my life, about what i should be doing, about what i need etc etc.. Most confusing and irritating is when you have to make a shopping decision in the time of recession :P It’s when you have to hold back a decision of whether you really want that product. If you intend to read further i suggest you go through the post linked above, It will help correlating with this one. Read the rest of this entry »

25 Feb ‘09: Newzeland managed a 6 ball victory over the touring India side in the first of the 2 T20 international match at Christchurch.  Jacob Oram smacked a six of what was to be the 24th six of the match, the most hit in a T20 international till date, to wrap up the match. Newzeland opening batsman Brandon McCullum was awarded the man of the match for his sensible and stylish not out innings of 60 odd in a 162 run Newzeland inning. Earlier India started the game in explosive fashion, Sehwag smashed 3 consecutive sixes off the first three that he faced in the first over. India at 19 for No loss at the end of first over. Gambhir hit his first boundary early in the second over before being dismissed out bowled when he tried one too many shots in the same over. Sehwag continued his form scoring another six off in the third over before he was out bowled trying to smack a six of a full pitch delivery. Join me for more action of the game inside.. I <3 WordPress..

February 19, 2009

Now this is a original design. I created this design as a participation entry into ‘I <3 wordpress ‘ contest. The winners to get a $400 cash prize and other freebies courtesy the organizer(Infectious). But luck has it, My design does not meet the requirements of a qualified entry. Why Not? I saw the contest and immediately started designing.. I did not bother about the terms and conditions or even the requirements. I thought that this was only a design contest and nothing else but that. It’s only when i was submitting the entry, i realized the requirements.

Crazy requirements: A design 650 X 800 Pixels with size not more than 250kb. Mine was a full blown 1200 X 800 pixel design. Tried shrinking it but the crispness of the text was gone. Anyhow submitted the entry and got rejected. (Design Inside) Read the rest of this entry »

Why me?

February 18, 2009

There has been a lot of confusion in my mind for the last few months. Adding to the woes is the increased amount of work I’m carrying on my not-so-well-built shoulders. It’s not that I’m not liking it, but it sure is all over my thoughts and starting to worry me. I really can’t find a workaround. No matter which place i go, i’m always thinking about it. On the bed, In the bus, On the beach with friends, during coffee breaks and like I said almost everywhere. The thoughts are random, I just cant stop my mind thinking about anything (just anything). Even as write this post, I’m thinking of all the  thoughts that I’m going to put up in the post and believe me, I’m not able to think of one! Pherhaps writing a post allows me the peace of mind that i need?

*gathering random thoughts*

You may well want to move on.. Either into the post or out of it! I leave the choice to you.. Read the rest of this entry »

A date with the love of my life..

February 16, 2009

14th february 2009, valentines Day:

love-wallpaper81This day carried no importance in my life until 2009. She has been the best of friends i have met through my life so far. A childhood friend infact. We always spent our free time together, not one minute without each other. It was until this day when i realized that i had true love in my hearts for her. Come this valentines day when people were all talking about Pink Chaddis and offensive culture, I found no place safe than my own house to spend the day with her. It was wonderful, not for the first time did we spend the whole day together, but this day was special. Read the rest of this entry »

19 Horses..

February 4, 2009

One of my Quick Posts just to keep the blog going. I received this as a forwarded message as a part of a yahoo group that I’m subscribed to.  Read on..

One rich man owned 19 horses when he died. In his last will and testament he had written that upon his death, half the horses he owned should go to his only son; one fourth to the village temple and one fifth to the faithful servant. The village elders could not stop scratching their heads. How can they give half of the 19 horses to the son? You cannot cut up a horse. They puzzled over this dilemma for more than two weeks and then decided to send for a wise man who was living in a neighboring village. The wise man came riding on his horse and asked the villagers if he can be of any help to them. The village elders told him about the rich man’s last will and testament which stated that half of the (19) horses must be given to his only son, one fourth must go to the temple and one fifth to the faithful servant. The wise man said he will immediately solve their problem without any delay whatsoever. So what did the wise man do? Read the rest of this entry »

Civilized society?

February 2, 2009

“Cleanliness leads to Godliness” Now-a-days it’s just a proverb(if you’d like to call it) than what was truly believed to be Indian Tradition. We pay our servants/ maids; occasionally use our hand to keep every corner in our house clean. Aren’t the roads we walk in, Places we visit as a ‘Chill out’ zone, Office space, other public spaces ours? Most of these public places that we use are littered, dirty, smelly and what not. People forget to flush the toilets they use. Peeing on road? WTF! Everything around us except for the place we live in is not clean. Why? Just because we continuing ignoring it. Are we a part of civilized society? Look around us.. Are we in a civilized country? It’s a sad feeling we call ourselves educated, still continue doing what a illiterate does. Wondering why I write about all this? Read on.. Read the rest of this entry »
