What in the Indian Culture?

Three girls were admitted to the ICU of a local hospital in Mangalore, Indian, following the incident of minor girls being beaten up by activists of Ram Sena (A political group, whose leader is believed to be a gunda) The incident took place in a local pub where the girls were reported to be consuming liquor and smoking cigarettes. In a shocking video telecasted on various news channels, the Activists pulled each girl by their hair on to the road before beating them up in public. Leader of Ram Sena, Mr.Whoever he is, declared that the pub culture has destroyed the ethics of Indian society and was a major force in weakening the Indian Culture. It was all over the place, Debates, interviews and what not. People demanded arrest while politicians used this as a opportunity be in the news.

Public Opinion: A Fun Ride?.. If you are not a Akshay Kumar or a Deepika Padukone fan then you are to be disappointed by the movie. You better wait till the movie premieres on television.

As for me, I did not think the movie was all that bad.. But yes, it fell very short of expectations! I’m a big Deepika and Akshay fan,therefore was waiting for the bookings to open.. I managed to snatch a Morning show ticket to what was a Advance booked theater. Midway to the movie, most people had started passing comments. People clapped, People laughed and People cried at scenes that were not supposed to be connected with that kind of emotion. The movie ended and I was left defending the movie. Yes, I liked the movie. it just cannot be discarded as a out and out boredom!

Fast Post – My own tag

Simple and easy new post and i said YES. It was only going to be a copy + Paste act which we Software engineers are always good at. No matter whoever denies it, A software engineer would have copy pasted the code atleast once in his life. Some don’t copy it literally but use the code and modify it. The Year that was..

As we enter yet another new year, I try and look back at a few things that caught the eye.

Ex US President George W Bush made news when a Iraqi journalist attacked Bush with a shoe. Bush was attending his final press conference before handing the Post of the President. The journalist accused Bush of causing havoc in the lives of million other Iraqi people. A lot of it has been said and done after the incident. This event also brought in more interest for online gamers, A lot of new Flash games have been developed and released on the internet. The best ones received over a million hits in a single day.. The character of Bush in the game received more than that. To Bush it was the year best forgotten!
