More vegeternism

I wrote a post about a year back talking about reasons of why I thought people ate Nonvegetarian food.  Why is that a majority of the world’s population is inclined to eating meat? I’ve got a number of comments on the blog, and having read them all you realize that people do it only because of the taste, and even having realized that it is cruelty to the animals, they cannot quit being a non vegetarian because of a habit they have grown up with for years together.

In this blog, I want to point out to one comment that i think is worth sharing as a blog itself. Puneet shukla went on to write a huge comment explaining his angle. Also I want to share a video I found online about a man named “Gary Yourofsky” who to me is fighting the case of animals against all of humanity. Link to the video in the blog.

Life of Inconvinience?

I don’t know about you, but I can’t seem to sit for 10 mins without a proper arm chair. I buy and manage so much stuff on the internet, that going out to even purchase groceries seems boring and uncomfortable. I sometimes wonder if these modern day inventions are a boon or a bane.

The TV Remote for example? It is one of the worst I’d believe, atleast at this point. I don’t get my ass off the sofa. Now they’ve got remotes possibly for everything, the AC, the fan and even the lights. What the hell? You sometimes even don’t require the remote, there are sensors placed all over your house to turn on and turn off appliances.

IRCTC saving and shredding paper at the same time

The new look IRCTC website is good. The new rules for booking tickets under the tatkal quota is excellent and one that was requested for a very long time. Keeping out booking agents until a specific was even more exciting. For once, normal people like me were able to get tickets when needed. IRCTC scored a lot of brownie points over the last two months. 

While there are more good things to talk about, there are some things that we cannot neglect.

Scam Alert – Now using Income Tax of India

Income Tax Government of India emailed me last evening. I assumed this email was a confirmation for the refund I received earlier this year, but no, this was about giving me more, an excess refund of Rs. 36,120.25 accumulated as Tax excess.
