Hit me Baby One more Time!!! The Happier Times!
On the High Side: From what could have been bad memories of the motera last year when South Africa bowled us out for a meager 76 off 20 overs to what we are now, 385/6 featuring the highest number of runs from Dravid’s bat in a single day, 11000 runs in test cricket – Rahul Dravid returned to international cricket after having been left out of the 7 match one day series against Australia. From being 32 for 4 at one point, India finished the first day of the first test match against Srilanka at 385 for 6, with Mr. Dependable, Mr. Always Perfect, The wall ,remaining not out on 177. Giving him company at the crease was Harbhajan Singh on 2. More about the match later..
On The Lower Side: Sachin’s comment on him being an Indian first before being a Marathi was questioned by Bal Thackrey in a Mumbai daily.

Enough! Enough! Enough! Ab bas bhi karo yaar! Spare him the horror!
Sachin was immediately asked to apologize or he’d lose support from all the Maharastrians in India. However Stupid that thought is, It’s time we respect and honor these legends. Media has to take more responsibility. Why should journalist’s ask such sensitive questions at all? Spare him the horror! Don’t we already have enough people talking about it? Thankfully Sachin didn’t apologize or say anything against it. A controversy is the last thing he wants. If he can’t be accepted by Marathi people in Maharashtra for a comment that was logically complete and correct, I welcome him to the state of Tamil Nadu where people are respected for what they are, no cast no creed no language or no colour!
Lets not make it even more controversial.. lets just dive in to what happened at the Motera.. Read on.. Read the rest of this entry »

India and Gary Kirsten made news last evening! No, not for showing the middle finger to a journalist, certainly not for going out shopping during practice hours, and definitely not for not attending the Khel Ratna award ceremony. Only this time the news was sensational, vitamins to the Indian Media. Guru Gary Kirsten published a four part document in a local news paper suggesting Indian Cricketers to have a sex boost to improve performance. More details follow..
In other news, Yuvraj Singh will return home after injuring his right index finger during a training session. Virat Kohli has been calle din as a replacement, which the ICC technical committee has approved. Injury laden (recovered?) Gautam Gambhir will be the vice captain until Yuvraj’s recovery. The stylish batsmen is advised to rest for 6 weeks before he could start training again. Perhaps work more in his sex life!

It’s Friday and what better way to start a day knowing that this is the last day of the week and tomorrow’s a holiday. Strangely, I wasn’t having this happy feeling this morning.
As i stood in front of my dresser getting ready for yet another day at office, I thought to myself – Aa badhu koni mate kare che? (Translation – Who am I doing all this for?). It’s not new to me, The thought comes to my mind almost daily, but it’s only gotten stronger in the last week. Why? I come to office everyday early in the morning, check my emails, If the client wants me to do anything that’s critical, I fix it! If not, I do what is planned for in the day. Then there are these coffee breaks and lunch breaks. And obviously a boring ride back home. What’s so special about my life? A thought that worries me the most.
Follow me into the blog as I discuss my life and dreams in general… Read the rest of this entry »

If I was born with suicidal tendencies, I’m sure you would have all been mourning by death by now. Truly, this is the feeling that one gets after Love Aaj Kal. If breaking up blossoms love, then Why the hell people get married? Makes perfect sense? No?!? I guess every single cast and crew member of Love Aaj Kal will be wondering what Imtiaz Ali the director of the movie wanted. What the hell is Love Aaj Kal? Love Aaj Kal is meeting a girl at the bar and ending up sleeping with her without knowing the name?
Love Aaj Kal is breaking up and liking it? Love Aaj Kal is realizing the love for someone after marriage? Or is Love Aaj Kal realizing the love for someone after a few thugs beat you up for money and trash your ex’s photo? What the hell is Love Aaj kal? Confused already? There’s more of the ‘thing called love’ inside..
Disclaimer: Pregnant Women, children below the age of 10 years and people with Cardiac problem should not read further or watch the movie as it may cause permanent damage or even worse, death! Read the rest of this entry »

News fascinate me but the only news I’m hearing these days is that Deepika Padukone wants to tie a rakhi on Dhoni’s hand. As if we cared
Talking about Rakhi, Rakhi Sawant the great ‘Bollywood’ drama queen is making news again, or should i say has been making the news for over a month for her controversial, so called reality show “Rakhi Ka Swyamvar”. The show had been in news for all the wrong reasons. Thankfully it ended with Rakhi choosing a Swayavar(a groom by choice?!?) but not without the drama she’s known for. “I’m planning a swayamvar 2″ she said…
The only thing that didn’t make news was Indian Cricket! How were our players going to miss out on their only chance to gather some air time? and They decided to not sign the long due WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) agreement claiming the seriousness involved with the ‘Whereabouts’ clause. Another one of the quick posts, This one regarding Cricket and may get controversial as we discuss, but finally i hope to arrive at a decision. This incident happened in a friendly match between the Hytunes, the team who i wicket keep for and Alva Tundu. (Yeah, The name sounds funny!
)
Alva Tundu is one of another 100 teams that remain optimistic of beating us even after losing 10 straight games. This match ended in a tie though, and that was thanks to a lot of controversies. No regrets, it was a great game of cricket, atleast this brought into light an incident that has never happened in the game of cricket. More information follows… Read the rest of this entry »
